CSV  has the premier racing calendar in Australia.

Numerous National, State and Club level track & criterium events are held across the state in summer, with the road events are held in winter. 

Major events include the Australian Open Road Championships in Ballarat, Herald Sun Tour, Austral Wheelrace, Melbourne to Warrnambool, Jayco Bay Cycling Classic, Bendigo Madison and more.
